Horsforth

Sunshine, planting and a sunflower race.

The young people of Horsforth spent the day in the sun at the weekend planting the plants and vegetables they had sown earlier in the year into the garden of their home, with a little help from one of the mums who is our resident gardener.

They planted Pumpkin Jack ready for Halloween, Connie the courgette, Betty and Berty Beetroot, along with plenty of flowers and a sunflower each for the sunflower race.
